Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Divya Sannidhi app (“the app”) uses, why, and the choices you have. The app is developed and operated by Divya Sannidhi (“we”, “us”). If you have a question, write to support@divyasannidhi.com.
1. Information you give us

2. Location
The app asks for your approximate location only when you tap “Near me” to see temples near you. It then also sets your Panchang to the nearest city. The distance to temples and your nearest city are worked out on your phone. Your last location is saved on your phone so the list opens quickly next time. Your location is not sent to us or to anyone else. You can turn location access off at any time in your phone's settings.
3. Services the app connects to
To show content, the app downloads files from these services. Like any website, they can see your phone's IP address and the file requested, under their own privacy policies. We do not send them your name, number or birth details.

4. Permissions

5. What we do not do
- We do not show ads or use advertising IDs.
- We do not use analytics or tracking tools, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their marketing.
6. How long we keep it
Information on your phone stays until you log out (which removes your name, mobile number and birth details) or uninstall the app (which removes everything the app stored). A copy we keep for support is kept until you ask us to delete it; see Delete your data. We delete it within 30 days of your request.
7. Your choices and rights
You can see and change your profile in the app at any time. You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to support@divyasannidhi.com. We reply within 30 days. This applies under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and similar laws where you live.
8. Children
The app is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
Information on your phone is kept in the app's private storage. Connections to our services use encryption (HTTPS). No method is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
